Hello Citizens of the World

My name is Christopher Nyamandi. I have more than 13 years of progressive responsibility in the design and management of development programmes in Southern and East Africa. I have worked for various international NGOs managing projects that provide water, health services, nutrition, livelihoods, microfinance, HIV/AIDS services and various other community development initiatives for vulnerable communities.

I have grounded experience in building the capacity of civil society organizations. Currently, I work in South Sudan where I coordinate the development and advocacy activities of an Alliance of faith based organisations. I enjoy playing the guitar in my spare time.

I will be blogging on African politics, African identity, diversity in Africa as well as music and arts. I hope to connect to like minded people through this forum - becuase my humanity is bound up in yours...

Occasional notes from Chris

New essays when they are finished, plus the odd thing I have read that I cannot stop thinking about. Roughly monthly. Never more.
